Dr. Davis Daycock is a specialist in Soviet and East European Studies and a Senior Scholar at the University of Manitoba. He obtained his PhD in government studies, with a speciality in Soviet and East European studies, at the London School of Economics, and has taught political theory, comparative government, and Soviet studies at the University of Manitoba since 1966, as well as courses in Ukrainian government and politics, Ukrainian history, and Ukrainian political economy.
